Headset users should visit this thread for more information, as it has not been wrapped into this table as of yet: I have noted that there are some devices that are specifically stated to work with the Switch, but these have not been included yet due to the redirection of effort. This list would not have been made available without their efforts! HUGE shoutout to /u/horza21 and other users that compiled this information after it was made available! Please note that this is NOT comprehensive and I haven't tested for mic input for games that support this feature. Gaming headsets that connect directly via USB are also another example. USB C cell phone headphone adapters are a increasingly common form of this. It is any device that connects via USB either directly to the Switch or to the dock itself so as to provide an audio output of any type. This may be resolved as of 7.x, but I haven't had the time to test for this yet. There have been reports of systems overheating when docked and in standby mode when a DAC is connected.
